✪How To Find A Yandere Work✪

☑ Nanami's Guide to Identifying a Yandere Work ☑
  • Genres: First of all, yanderes usually fall under certain genres. Before you read/watch something check to see what genres it falls under. There might be a yandere in there.
    1. Romance: Definitely this one. Chances are if there is a yandere in something, there is romance in that story. If there is no romance or love in the story, the person is probably not a yandere. Maybe a yangire.
    2. Drama: You know yanderes bring drama with them. You can call them drama queens when it comes to love. From overreacting to manipulation to murder. They spice things up.
    3. Psychological: I don't really know if I have to explain this one. Yanderes are indeed messed up in the head. But in a good way <3.
    4. Tragedy: This one is sometimes there when a yandere is there. Whether it's geared toward the protagonist's friends and family, or someone who tries to hurt them or flirt with them, or even the protagonist or the yandere him/herself, when a yandere is involved, it's a tragedy for someone.
    5. Horror: Even though they are attractive, yanderes can be scary. Actually, forget the can, they ARE scary. The fact that they are capable of killing anyone who gets in your way, or even you is enough to switch it from romance to horror.
  • Key Words/Tags: Okay this part usually gives it away. If you are reading a description of something or see a tag with any of these key words, there is a pretty good chance you are dealing with a yandere related work.
    1. Obsessive/Obsession
    2. Possessive
    3. Jealousy/Easily Jealous
    4. Appearance Different from Personality/False Personality/Two-Faced
    5. Deception
    6. Fear of Abandonment
    7. Loner
    8. Manipulative/Sly/Controlling
    9. Psychopath/Sociopath
    10. Secretive/Hidden/Mysterious
    11. Stalker
    12. Overprotective
  • Pictures/Symbolism: Okay so sometimes you can tell if a work is yandere related even without words. These key pictures usually indicate a story with a yandere in it.
    1. Chains/Barb Wire
    2. Cage/Bird in a Cage
    3. Bruised/Dark Heart
    4. Dark/Red eyes
    5. Blood; Splattered/On Face
    6. Handcuffs/Shackles
That's it as far as my guide goes. If you see any of the things listed above, check it out, you might find a yandere. But, the opposite could also happen. Something could have almost of all the things listed above and still not have a yandere in it. I know because it's happened to me before. Male yanderes are just too hard to find ヘ( ̄ー ̄ヘ).

    1. Yeah he kind of is. I mean I'm not sure. He has some yandere qualities which is why I put him under related. http://yanderemales.blogspot.com/p/related.html

  2. I want to say I love this blog, and I enjoy looking through these posts. One thing I noticed in their psychology is that they always justify their actions or monologue why they are doing something to their love interest. For example one yandere claimed that they were teaching their love interest how to be 'loved'. Another basically stated that it was natural to pursue their loved one. This is can be denial as well. This may apply more towards well fleshed yanderes but I have seen it other places. I found it interesting.

    1. Thank you for loving my blog (▰˘◡˘▰). Also, I totally agree with you. Denial plays a big part in their character. I can't believe I forgot about that! I guess it's their way of not accepting what they are doing as wrong (∩⌣̀_⌣́). It's almost like a defence mechanism so they themselves won't realize that they need help. Wow! You said it perfectly! They do tend to justify their actions. (*⌒∇⌒*)

  3. I used to watch a horror movie. The first scene was about a member of a sisterhood (i don't remember her name to i named her A) doing lovey dovey things with her bf. And...the sisterhood were killed one by one. It turned out that A'bf was the killer! He killed all of them excepted her because he though they would make her worse than she used to then he told her to find, kill the last member and escaped with him. But she refused and tried to kill him. Ah the protagonist was Jennifer Love Hewitt (i guess so??)

  11. OMG! I Love your blog! Its really helped me a lot in many ways. Why is it yandere guys are hard to find? Even though they are really attractive. .

  12. I... think I might be a yandere. Also... is it weird that I'm not uncomfortable when I hear about a murder...?😧 Im just nervous I might go on a killing rampage or something.😣😣😣

    1. Also u should try out Yandere Simulator. If you havent😉

    2. That doesn't make sense. A yandere is someone who would turn to violence for the one they love-going as far as to kill a person who they think is in the way. The fact that you show hesitance means you are not yandere, nor did you claim you have a lover. Your response is ironic because you said you would kill, but do not like the idea of killing.

  14. I need help with something. I"m 10 years old and... well... I have this friend and their brother is 14 years old and has a crush on me. He hits people hard and he even called one of my friends a fat pig. Also, my friend reported that he went on his mom's phone and stared at pictures of me. I can't tell if he's a yandere or a pedophile or both, please help!

    1. Listen kid, if this is really whats going on you should not be talking to people on here, you should be contacting your mom or the police. If you really are 10 you should not be on this site at all, Yandere's aren't for kids, period. If what your saying is true, contact the police please don't bring yandere boys into this.
