As Much As I Could Find ◊ Kuni no Alice Series

*Alright so I have been needing to update the Kuni no Alice series. There are a lot of Mangas/Drama CD's etc. for the Kuni no Alice series which is good because most of the characters in the series are yanderes (^_^)/. There are actually so many Kuni no Alice mangas, and drama CD's etc. that I was too lazy to list them so here is the link to a blogger that put it all in one place and the link to the manga information. Have fun! Some mangas I really liked are any ones that had to do with the Bloody Twins (my love for shotas will never die XD), and Clover no Kuni no Alice - Cheshire Neko to Waltz, and Clover no Kuni no Alice - Sangatsu Usagi no Kakumei ^^.*

*Edit 9/5 - I can't believe I forgot to add this but the Alice series released an English version of Heart no Kuni no Alice for the App Store and Google Play. Check it out if you are interested.*

  2. Nanami-chan,does kuni no alice has its own anime ? Like ova or movie maybe?

Also, shotas are my second favorite chara (after yandere of course) so having both of them in one person in this game makes me so happy \(^O^)/ lol

    1. Hey Nabilah-chan! The answer to your question is yes! Heart no Kuni no Alice has a movie. The thing is though it doesn't really get into the yandere stuff. But, it's still nice to watch the movie if you wanna see what the characters are like and stuff!

Shotas are my favorite too!! I understand your feelings, combining both the yandere and shota trait into one character like the bloody twins and yeonho from Nameless makes me sooo happy!! There is a reason why those characters are my favorites <3.

  4. Now,come to think about it...don't you think that Peter is a yandere as well ? I mean, like how he's kidnapped Alice, took her to Wonderland, and sometimes think that how much he want to keep and lock her so he can have her all to himself XD lol

Pretend that "as long as Alice in wonderland,I don't care anymore" but really,he just want to keep her by his side (*^ω^*) eww,you sweet yet creep little bunny XD hahaha

    1. Yes Peter is a yandere. A lot of characters in the series are yandere. Almost all of them. I guess it's because they are put in a yandere situation? I don't know but yeah most of them are yandere.

Peter is so cute <3. But not cuter than the twins <33333, in my opinion.

  5. \(^O^)/ I knew it! And I do think that almost every single one of them are yandere too! What a very wonderful wonderland! Being trapped in a silly world called 'wonderland' with yanderes is so exciting don't you think?! Alice is such a lucky girl XD lol

Also, yes of course. Peter is cute, but twins are the cutest ! ≧﹏≦ anyway,do you have any idea how many drama cd of Alice's series have Nanami-chan ? Or do the bloody twins have their part in any of the drama cd ?

Yup! And, to answer your question, there are a lot of no Kuni no Alice Drama CDs but I am not sure as to how many of them there are. You can check for them here :) http://vocaotome.tumblr.com/alice-resources.

    1. Ace is my second favorite after the twins :).

I hate Blood too! He is like last person I'd want to play if I ranked all the wonderland members. I don't know why I don't like him. He just turns me off lol XD, Yeah but not like I have anything against people who do it's just my preference.

      The twins are cute <3.

  7. My favourite charackters are Peter, Ace and the Twins. (i like twins) And i hate blood. He is the typ who betrays the MC in all ways. I think he played just with her.

Peters obsession is wow. He reminds me a little bit on the typ in metronome. (but just a little bit)
Ace is so manly and handsome. And his bad sense of direction. I like it. He is like a knight in a fairy tale. Aww and the twins are cute. I like it if they acted as if they would be a danger. But i dont like their adult version.

    1. Wow! My favorite characters are Peter, Ace and the Twins too! It's twins first, Ace second, then Peter third for me :D. Also yeah it is hard for me to like Blood too since he usually plays around with Alice.

I agree Peter reminds me of the guy in metronome too! Ace is manly and handsome and I love his bad sense of direction xD. And the twins are my life <3. They are super cute ^^.

And I don't like their adult version too! I actually hate the fact that they were given an adult version from the clover series on. They were supposed to stay my little shotas forever! xD The thing is though, a lot of people have a problem with the twins being so young so they added the fact that they could become adults for those who have a problem with shotacon. But it breaks my shota heart :'(.

  8. PLEASE NOTE, This is a review for the English game (and is also ridiculously long, I’ve had to split it into 2 comments…seriously), so please don't say about other sources that showed they're yandere sides please :D also I'm a major cynic, and despite all my complaints I really DO like this game- oh and possible spoilers ahead. I played all the character's in the English version, it was brilliant, but I was a teensy-little- bit disappointed. I'm not sure if it's just because I'm so obsessed, but I was expecting a little more yandere insanity.

The main route I was unsatisfied with was Vivaldi's, as the only female I was looking forward to her route, but there seemed to be very little exploration into Alice's and her romance or love let alone obsession, there were far fewer CGs and I didn't feel the route went much past sisterly love/friendship, which is a big flop in a 'otome game'. If you're putting in a route in a dating sims, romance is kind of expected ya know.

Julius and Gowland certainly weren't yandere- Julius being the gloomy lover who wants you to stay but pushes you away at the same time, and Gowland's love is open and honest. If I was pushing it maybe you could say he was a little manipulative or possessive, but I think he was just desperate for Alice to stay, and since all of these characters are slightly insane in our terms due to the difference in how death is viewed and this being one of the first time they experience love, I wouldn't really call this yandere, just innocent love.

Next I would put Elliot and Boris- both of these characters are possessive but I would class them as borderline. Both do have an obsession with Alice in their routes but Elliot is like the bipolar-innocent lover, whose mafia side never seems to cross into love, towards Alice he's a total sweetheart and adorable- he's desperate for her to stay but doesn't seem to do much that would be classed as yandere to keep her with him- he just wants reassurance- similar to Gowland, but he puts slightly more pressure on her to stay.

Boris on the other hand starts to tilt the scale with his Best End, he always showed possessive traits throughout his route, but it really comes to light in his ending, he basically tells Alice if she wants to go home she'll have to kill him. A lot of crazy stuff and discussion around killing each other goes down (oh my god it made me cry- certainly the most emotional end) and when she stays he handcuffs himself to you for god knows how long.

Ace is a strange one, by the end I couldn't figure out if he actually loved Alice or was just insane and messing with you...maybe he loved Alice, but being the cynic I am I'm not convinced XD.
For me the twins, Dee & Dum are next they certainly express their love vocally and physically, but out of all the characters, for me, these two seemed to have the most trouble understanding love as we know ti. So much like with Ace, I'm cynical, this may partly be due to the fact that these two routes were much shorter for unexplained reasons, having far fewer CGs and only the Best and Bad endings available meaning their development as characters and feelings just seemed a bit rushed. The routes weren't bad but didn't feel like they met their full potential with such yandere-like characters to begin with, they just seemed more sadistic then yandere.

    Continued in next post.....

  9. Continuation of last post...

Then there is Peter, this guys is definitely a form on yandere. He's the one who originally brought Alice to Wonderland a.k.a kidnapped her. He's constantly trying to please Alice, offering to do anything and everything within and outside the realm of his power just to make her like him more, he's even willing to die so Alice won't forget him. This guy spends as much time as possible, will hardly ever leave you alone, will do everything to make you love him and is willing to kill anyone you spend more time with then him. Interestingly his is the only route that even mentions the possibility of starting a family, although briefly, because he believes if you had a child with him you wouldn't leave him. So yeah, definite yandere. Although he can be creepy as hell and also kinda irritating, he was also surprisingly sweet.

For me, in this game, Blood is actually one of the major yanderes. At first he does nothing but tease and try to manipulate you because he finds you interesting, trying to seduce Alice. But at some point along the way he starts to show kinda obvious jealousy towards Alice's ex who looks just like him. He's extremely possessive, jealous and downright refuses to let Alice leave. Blood's route has 4 ends, 2 of which show definite yandere characteristics and 1 couldn't be more yandere if it tried (SPOILER- seriously Blood? Threatening to kill her, kidnap her, destroying her only way home, forcing her to kiss you then forcing her to marry you only a few days later probably aren't the best ways to a girl's heart). But to be honest the Best End at least made the mysterious guy be honest about his feelings for Alice- so hey that's good.

So both Peter and Blood and yandere, but I would say Peter focusses more on the obsession, innocent-desperation and loving side of while Blood focusses more on the lustful, possessive and twisted-desperation of yandere characters.

And may I just say how much I was hoping I could play a route for Nightmare...that made me sad...

BUT despite all this, I really did enjoy this game, sure the translation was a bit patchy and sometimes I was left a bit disappointed by a route or ending, but the overall experience with this game was really fun. All of the characters are really different, meaning no matter what your type is, you will find a character you like. Nearly all of the characters have possessive moments that'll make you squeal and quite a few of the routes have different branches for certain scenarios meaning you'll have plenty of content to play through before you're done- and thank god, finally a heroine that isn't some oblivious-happy-go-lucky girl who can't protect herself *ahem*Voltage*ahem*!!

Alice is quite a relatable character I find, making this that much more fun because of the constant squabbling between characters and Alice trying to stop them all being so quick on the trigger with varying results meaning hilarity ensues XD. I think this game does a brilliant job of balancing humour with action and romance, and I think there is a level of yandere for nearly everyone. You'll probably be left a bit confused once you've finished the whole thing, but it's worth it. Also, the price isn't bad, compared to other game which I find are stupidly expensive now, you certainly get value for money with this game, and if you don't want the buy a route the prologue and the 1st episode is free for all 9 characters so you can try before you buy :p.

Wow, ok I'm gunna end this here because holy hell this has become so long! So, uh, bye! Oh and I'm so sorry for basically just filling up your comment section with this review... I really didn't expect it to become this long and I really can't apologise enough.

    1. Don't say sorry! I really enjoyed reading your review and I had almost identical thoughts as you when I played the game also. The only thing is I still have to play Blood, Gowland, Vivaldi and Julius' route. I don't know why I hate Blood xD. From what you described he seems like a perfect yandere! I really have to play his route now! I agree with what you said about Peter being a yandere having played his route myself and in all honesty I had doubts about Ace too. But, I still enjoyed his route xD. Still, even though the majority of characters could be seen as borderline yandere, I believe the Kuni no Alice series is a great game for yandere lovers and your review is very helpful ^^.

Which brings me to my next question. I would like to include your review in this post. Of course I will give you credit for it. I feel like this review is perfect for male yandere lovers because it gives the perspective of a male yandere lover themself. For those who are hesitant on if they should buy the game or not for the yandere your evaluation of the yandereness in the game is perfect. So, I would like your permission to add your review to my post, crediting MaleYandereObsessed or whatever else you would like me to call you. If not, it is totally okay. I am not forcing you to say yes or anything, by all means no. I just really enjoyed your review and found it helpful ^^.

    2. I'm really glad you got some enjoyment out of my nonsensical rambling XD! As said, three of the four you have left are at best borderline, but still good stories none the less. I can see why you dislike Blood- he's not exactly nice about, well, anything really, but after replaying his route last night to be sure, I would say his yandere side starts to show around chapter 7 of his route and continues to show (and his voice actor was great, in fact they all were which made it that much better for me). Yay! At least I know I didn't completely misread someone's personality! And with the routes you have left- I have managed to get 86% of all available scenes- so if you're struggling to get a particular one just give me a yell and I'll see if I've unlocked it.

Really? Sure, go ahead! I can't believe you think my 5 minute ramble could be useful to someone- though I would suggest giving it the once over- I'm pretty sure auto-correct got hold of it before I posted it- So I'll give you free reign in terms of correcting grammar and repeated words if you like- I'm pretty sure some 'your v you're' were wrong throughout as well. But by all means add it. In terms of crediting you can just credit it to my username, can't say I'm particularly possessive of it XD.

    3. Sorry for getting back to you so late :(. I had read your comment a while ago but forgot to respond x_X. Thanks for the help with the scenes ^^. Also it's not rambling, it was a very good thought out review :D.

Thanks for giving me permission ≧(´▽`)≦. Don't worry, I will take a look at it for grammatical errors and such :). Although I wouldn't call myself the best editor since I tend to make grammatical mistakes often xD.

Okay I will credit your username then xD. Once again thanks for giving me permission to post your review :D.

  10. Don't worry about it, I can take forever to reply to things. No problem about that, and trust me, it wasn't well thought out at all on my part XD.

Don't worry about it, auto-correct and my own stupidity and fast-typing did a hell of a number on it.

And once again, no problem- I'm glad it can be of some use.

    1. Yeah after I read your comment I checked on iTunes and it's not there! I am lucky because I got the game while it was available and haven't deleted it but if you didn't get the chance to download the game I'm sorry you missed the chance to get the game! Hopefully it's done temporarily and will be back up soon. It's a really good male yandere game so it's a shame.
